Bobby Whitlock is an American singer, songwriter, and musician, best known for his work as a keyboardist and vocalist with Derek and the Dominos, the band formed by Eric Clapton in the early 1970s. He played a significant role in the creation of the iconic album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (1970), co-writing some of its key tracks like "Bell Bottom Blues" and "Layla."

Whitlock's soulful voice and keyboard playing helped define the sound of that era's blues-rock scene. Beyond Derek and the Dominos, he has also worked with artists like Delaney & Bonnie, George Harrison, and Joe Cocker, among others.
